From May 17 to May 19, we welcome educators from European Jewish schools and Israel for a three-day seminar focused on Jewish education and Holocaust history.
Connect with up to 25 fellow educators from 15 countries, explore Centropa materials, discover innovative ways to integrate 20th-century Jewish history and personal narratives into your teaching, and build lasting professional partnerships.
Program highlights include:
- Explore Kraków’s Jewish heritage—past and present
- Dive into Centropa’s rich collection of Jewish family stories, photographs, short films, and podcasts, with a special focus on Poland and Kraków
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create new educational materials
- Join a unique community of passionate educators dedicated to bringing 20th-century Jewish history and personal stories into their classrooms

We can only accept applicants who are able to attend the seminar for its full duration.
Contribution to expenses:
Participants are asked to cover their travel expenses and pay a €50 registration fee. All other seminar costs will be covered by Centropa.
Participants who are unable to cover these expenses may apply for financial support.

Please note:
This seminar is open only to educators teaching in European Jewish schools and in Israel.
The seminar program does not include a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Participants who wish to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau are kindly asked to do so individually, either before or after the seminar.
