Centropa Jewish Network professional development seminar for Israeli teachers

We welcome educators from Israeli schools for a two-day professional development seminar focusing on women’s stories.

Connect with up to 20 fellow educators, explore Centropa materials, discover innovative ways to integrate 20th-century Jewish history and personal narratives into your teaching, and build lasting professional partnerships.

Through the stories of women who lived through the twentieth century, we will explore how memory becomes a living presence in our classrooms. As Friedrich Nietzsche wrote, “He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” The women whose stories we will encounter had their “why.” This seminar is about helping your students discover theirs.

Application deadline: July 15
We can only accept applicants who are able to attend the seminar for its full duration.

Contribution to expenses:
Participants are asked to cover their travel expenses. All other seminar costs will be covered by the organizers.
